We individually tailor our Intruder Alarm Systems to suit each application, and all are professionally installed and maintained by highly skilled engineers to the high standards you would expect from a security company.

Our surveyor will advise on the best solution to meet your individual building requirements and ensure that you are fully aware of the current and imminent standards regarding monitored alarm systems requiring Police response.

Full compliance

We will also ensure that the new/existing system complies with the latest PD6662:2010 and BS8243 standards that is a requirement for all New Systems or Take-Overs of Older Systems installed pre-2002 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

From the 1st June 2012 all Intruder and Personal Attack (Hold Up) Alarm systems installed within the European Union must meet fundamental standards in order to be accepted by insurance companies and to be allowed to summon a police response.

The European standard applicable to Intruder and Hold Up Alarms is the EN50131 series. In the UK additional standards are represented by the PD6662 and BS8243 standards.

We install Monitored Systems with either Keyholder response or Police calling as necessary to meet your insurers requirements. Our monitored packages can include a low-cost digital dialler or general insurance specified systems such as BT Redcare, Redcare GSM, DualCOM and DualCOM GPRS - all of which provide confirmed activations to our central monitoring station - essential for maintaining Police response to your system.

And of course all our systems are fully guaranteed and backed up by the Access 24-hour / 365-day Emergency Cover, so you always have the peace of mind of knowing that an engineer is always on hand to help.

Intruder Alarm Maintenance & Servicing

New intruder alarm systems installed by Access are covered by the Access comprehensive 12-month guarantee. If your new system is maintained by Access on an annual basis (min £78 a year contract) we will guarantee your system for life!

We are also able to service existing intruder alarms systems not supplied / installed by us.
